I really like your treatment of this. When taking images of iconic subject matter, its great because everyone can relate to them, but you have to put your own twist on the subject, then it changes from cliche' to unique. I have photographed front and derriere of Notre Dame, but could never lug my 8x10 up the 250 steps to get this shot. A classic. So, I used a digital, the only digital image I show, to make a b/w transparency....photopolymer plate and the following engraving. It has more 'spizz' than my digi color had. Love looking thru your work. Not sure which of your images is you....so, send me a link of one you like.

I know the scene well but you've perceived it in it's full gothic horror with the dull tone, the closeness of the gargoyle and the warped cityscape. This is an outstanding work.
