About I saw this and thought the title. For those of you who think you speak English, ya may struggle a bit but get the meaning. For those of you who need a bit of clarification... here it is: Venice is water-surrounded and sinking. There are no mountains there. Yet, Venice is a decaying city. Things are falling off left and right... a virtual rain of building material. The "Mountains of Venice" symbolize the fact Venice is at sea level and the fact it is a decaying city. Or so I thought so at the time.
