Just before the Easter procession left the church there were a lot of people standing around waiting for things to get started.I couldn`t make out what she was staring at but she did it long enough for me to get my tripod up, place the camera and change lense! All the same, Iwish I'd had a faster film in the camera-Iwould have taken several more photos of her.
Thanks Ian and Koen for your comments. No,I didn't use photoshop here apart from lighting the candle but I think it might be a good idea to cut and paste into another Easter week photo. Thanks for the idea!As you say Koen there is a pretty clear separation between background and foreground and I like the contrast between the innocence of the girl who's totally absorbed in the procession and the older girls in the band who are absorbed by the cell phone
good job findign this shot and moving to take it. the slow film shows in the blurred movement. i wouldve liked the background more out of focus. also, did you use ps to focus the girl? because it looks really fake. as if you cut and pasted this image....
Cool shot Tony. I like the clear separation between foreground and background. The question is, what is she looking at ? You hit a good moment there. Too bad that person in the background had to telephone exactly now, making it just as if the hand grows out of the girls head. But that's a futile detail here I think. Cool !
