About no overexposed on this one the details of the cenote are really better, but we loose the total deep feeling of the first capture.

What are "vegetals", Jacques? Plants like for example liana?

Anyway, not as important to know their names since they don't show much of that special "fauna character" on the image. They could have been plastic cables hanging down as well, and so I like their pure geometrical influence as "distance counters" here.

Cheers!

Nick

Very good coloring and still also a good composition, Jacques! There is some strong pixelation on the ropes (or what are they?) that go down the hole but the rest of the image keeps the details well visible and without such artifacts. The leaves on the bottom right do contibute very well to sensing the distance - they work as markes for the "here" as opposed to the "down there. And they also add good color contrast against the other tones.

Cheers!

Nick

in fact, they were plant and they don't want us to approach them even in the water to prevent falling rock and hurting the plants... sorry for taking so long to answer my friend. You'll see the stair in the next posting to get down there... and you can see window on the rock wall if you take attention on this one.

Another great shot of this enchanting scenario my dear Jacques. Great details and tones. I did ask last time what the purpose of the ropes/creepers were for but you haven't been able to answer as yet. They are very intriguing. My very best wishes to you as always my friend.......Ray
