Congos, Congo folguedos which are commonly displayed as Prestiti (parades), where the participants, singing and dancing in religious celebrations or profane, tribute, in particular, St. Benedict. Many of these meet folguedos also an assistant in popular Catholicism, helping so many devotees to fulfill their promises. His instrumentation varies in each region, with emphasis on the impact, stimulating many moments of vigorous dancing and complicated maneuvers. There Congo in sainhas with large quantity of boxes, hats with the ribbons, with managements of sticks and swords (some groups displaying copies of Armies of the times of the Empire and early Republic). Sometimes, they reign (king, queen, allegiance) involving the dramatic, with embassies and struggles.
