Hi Paul, Enjoying looking through your images. The HDR blend seems to have darkened the left 1/3 of the image. You might want to re-try the HDR software you are using as I am sure it has inmproved since 2009. Nice composition.
To answer Vijay's question (comment 1) The Hay has what is known as Silage Wrap. Some farms put slightly green hay into a silage pit, cover it with plastic sheets. THe hay (silage) is quite sweet and has a fair amount of moisture. This method is a similar way to get Silage without a huge pit. Hay, by definition had been left out in the paddock to substantially dry out. Silage is mainly for dairy cattle. Sorry for the disertion :-)
Agreed, it's such a pity that modern agro-economic practices have clothed hay and straw the world over in that ugly plastic condom-like sheathing. UGH, it's very sad.
