About myself, just after we finish to climb the acropole des draveurs, a 3 hours hike trip to the top... most of the people take about 2 hours to get down the mountain, but me knees really hurt me and I took about 4 1/2 to get back to the bottom point.... hope those old knees wont let met down, I want to hike again and again but don't think I can go everywhere I want now... too much badminton

Hi Jacques,

Very nice portrait :)The man and his world :)
Must be a great view once you've reached the top, as I remember from my tours in Austria and Switserland. Came not further than about 2850 meters, but the view was breathtaking. One of my most beloved experiences;)
Good that Helene was with you, to share this beautiful feeling.

Wish you and yours a wonderful weekend & greetz,
Albert

thanks a lot Saad, really appreciate. It was surprising how cold and windy it is on top of the mountain as in the middle of the summer, we had aout 8-10 degrees minus.. in Celcius...

Hi Jacques you made it, but the mountains on the background are still higher :-) Strong winds at that altitude: you nearly lost all your hair at the upper front side, fortunately plenty left at the back side :-)
Photography reveals so much except the facts about knees and badminton :)
enjoy your weekend,
Paul

pleased to see you Jacques, young, athletics, and above all healthy to go this far,the shot you have taken for your friend is finer,it shows the whole Vally and the river, though this one is more pleasure to see,you are there,
my regards,
Saad.

Hey looks like a fantastic hiking area! sorry to hear about your knees...mine are poor too. I found that cutting sugar from my diet (a hard thing to do) made my knees much better..weird I know but true for me. Us old guys want to keep fit!
