the grain is a real nice add on to this one Dave, and yes, unfortunate people are everywhere... and we can only wish they can find a real place someday, and don't judge them to hard.

A sad reflection of society, Dave. Everywhere we went last year we saw similar scenes. Nice processing, though.:)

I do liked the addition of grains too... Interesting also the pole with the sculpture showing the feet that seems to be a dragon.. Nice tones and contrast Dave; hugs.

The grain adds a lot to this melancholic scene Dave. That and a nasty wet day heightens the plight of this unfortunate person. As you yourself have observed, they can be found in any of the World's cities. The shot is a great example of street and photjournalism and evokes my own personal emotions my friend. The mono tones are superb and there is great balance to your composition. I hope you are well, take care Dave. My very best wishes to you as always.......Ray

This is the deal Dave. Bad things happen to people. Either people find a way and survive, or they don't. There are plenty of programs out there for people to get help. Its a matter if they want the help or not...

This is not a true statement, I have never seen homeless people in my country, even those who come here to work for us, coming not even with a pear of desent trousers, in a short time you find them driving some of the most expensive cars in the world.
