Dear Saad, I will ask the surgeon about Abrahamsons darning repair. I will meet with him in a couple of weeks. I will be going to the Veterans Hospital in Helena Montana. As a Viet Nam vet I am eligible for the care through the VA. I have a peace about this upcoming surgery and know that I should heal quickly. I am in good physical shape except for the hernia. Thanks for your input and good wishes. I will tell the surgeon of my Iraqi friend.
Be well, Stan

Hi Stan,I wish I am the one who will repair the hernia for you ,I am one of the best who masters hernias repair, just for the fun of it ,tell the surgeon, whom I think is very efficient one, tell him an Iraqi surgeon advised me to do Abrahamsons darning repair, and see the impression on his face, then tell him that an Iraqi surgeon sends his greetings to you,and ask you kindly to take good care of his friend,
my best wishes of health and rapid recovery,
Saad.

Dearest Saad, I can only imagine the frustration of the confinement you are forced to live in and accept. I can only hope that as you take these pictures it will also give you peace knowing the creator of such beauty. I hope and pray for the day you can step outside with your camera and once again feel the freedom that has eluded you through this horrible time for you and yours. I just found out that I am going to need an I lingual hernia repaired. I thought I had a spider bite because of the sudden swelling. The doctor said that I was the proud owner of a hernia. I will think of you helping the surgeon as he does this repair. Thanks for making a difference with your dedication and love for your fellow Iraqis annd all that you do to help them. I am proud to have a friend like you.
Be well, Stan

The crisp details and the small bits of pollen scattered on the flower are very good. I like the b/w tones and the DOF really adds the depth to this image. Nice work in your home for this image.
Be well, Stan

Unlike Txules I like the composition, although the idea of using a square format is also a good one. The selective focus is very well done. The whole image gives the idea of something very beautiful yet fragile.
Regards, Gary

thank you JD,for the good advice, but this empty room is the flower itself, indeed it is only part of it, I have focused on less than half of the flower,
my best wishes,
Saad.

techs are spot one (5d and sigma 105 did a terrific work); BW conversion is superb; not crazy with composition though; I think you should have placed the flower more to the right (hand view) dimishing the empty space and believe me I love empty spaces or take anothet approach and crop the emty room going for a square format
just some thoughs
