Your S-50 seems to give you better results than the Sony Mavica. But a little more DOF would help (look at those gulls). Regards

You may have compressed it a bit too much resulting in a "pixelated" sky. And though I like your summer motif for the frame, it may be a bit too thick and further confines this beautiful image.
