Good decision, Indranil, in the sense of keeping it real if it has to be a text at all.

Cheers!

Nick

I had written on the hand only, there is no PS on the writing. Thanks Nick.

Best Regards!

So you wrote on the hand or was that made with PS afterwards, Indranil? It looks rather real to me as the text seems to follow the relief of the palm.

Cheers!

Nick

Authentic and original for the chosen angle to capture the jand and its reflection on the mirror, Indranil. (or is that the hand of somebody else?) Anyway, the two things merge seemlessly into one. I would have prefered a bit more separation, but this is personal taste.

The low-key was great for this one. It added something deeply contemplative, but also the attitude of self-perception and cognition of the impossibility to describe the own self completely and perfectly. The many good details of skin-texture kame it interesting, though perhaps there is a bit too much reflection of light on it here and there. The focus was also good, but perhaps ot needed a bit more tweaking, except of course of the apparently less sharp details are the result of clipping.

Anyway, I also attach a slightly retouched one for getting an impression of the hypothetical result of a bit less exposure and a bit better focus.

BTW, the text... was that really necessary? It is neither very ledgible nor adds any additional value to the shot. or does it?

Cheers!

Nick

Burned it a bit on the reflections and slightly sharpened it

Thank you so much Dear Luis. I am really glad that you like it.
I have very little knowledge about palm reading because I dont believe it ;). May be palm reading originated in India coz overhere it is very popular.

Best Regards!
Indranil

This is what I call, reading one's palm. Excellent shot and idea. When I was a child I remember Gypsies passing by the town and asking people to have their palm read. Just recently I read somewhere that palm reading originated in India. I wonder if that's true.
