About Honest... some guy died in this car crash. This shot was taken from my front yard. I saw all the flashing lights and all I could think of was, "Wow. I need to take some photos!" I took my tripod, set the camera and snapped off several shots while sitting back in the dark. I have had these shots for 3 years... just didn't know how or why or when I would post. I guess tonight is as good as any other night. This is not a collection or slideshow image. This is a single panorama shot of the rescue (in this case 'recovery') vehicles just to the south of Brookie street. I never did bother to remember the name of the fella what had his life snuffed just yards/meters from me... It is the burning monk syndrome... the photo is all. MM and I are going to Chicago tomorrow. Maybe I can get a nice artsy snap of a shooting victim. Those two dark verticle bands of black are actually tree trunks; of those trees out front I have been shooting for years. And yes... I cropped a long, black, dark balance to the right on purpose.
