OK thanks for the reply here.. weird way to communicate and I will not put email addresses and such on UF as it is not private. I did give you Carolin’s email in my email to you both, so you could get in touch but I suggest you get the email issue sorted out first. It looked to me like you were responding remotely that is logging into the webmail provider you use and responding rather than on the home computer. However your positive response has been noted Carolin has also responded in the positive so looks like it is a goer. We also need a working title I have some ideas but wanted to open that up to you both as well, something with "world" in it.. Good luck with the email prob and hope you can respond to me and Brad ASAP
Hi, like the clouds coming down from the heavens! Anyway to business, very exciting idea Roger, great project. Carolin... is she 5ideas.deviant.art.com? If so it'd be great to hang with her, I can see how we use simlar means to get to different results (I think her reallignment of the planet is all class). I should introduce myself, I've said gidday to 5ideas but don't know if I've got a reply and certainly she won't know who it was (I've even forgotten what my nomdeplume was). Anyways, sorry about all the dead air on the email. That traffic island, is that downtown Muswellbrook? wouldn't look out of place in Port Chalmers, where I reside! -synergy! My aesthetical dream is to freak the sheep. I mean enhance the way my people here, on the west side of the harbour, here in Otago see their land, but I haven't introduced myself to the local galleries, and nor have they to me, so they can wait, and I don't know if I want to enter their scene anyway. A poster, or some oddity sold in a curio shop here appeals to me the longer I wait, untill they come crawling to me. so yeah, Muswellbrook appeals as a debut. Surely the email thing is a temporary glitch of some kind, I'll other avenues for emails in the meantime for communication. Anyway thanks again, a most worthy goal. I'm at work and someone sounds grumpy behind me better go.
yeah its expensive tho.. I had to drill a hole in my body cap for the 5D.. (like how many times do you use a body cap right?) then make an aperture out of some shim brass that I stole, stick the aperture over the hole in the body cap with some stolen lecco tape and away we go.. this aperture is a tad big.. I did ith with a small nail normal sunny day shots round 2 sec or so as a time and thats it.. simple and wonderful and the advantage of dijpinholio is that you can check your exposure and re shoot in a flash.. wonderful..thanks for the comment Mike
Wonderfully creative and original Roger. I've been wanting to try pinhole imaging myself for some time now, and this is great inspiration to get off my butt and give it a try.
