About There is only two bridges that connect Asia with Europe at the Bosporus Straight,so if you stand midway in the Bosporus, could you imagine in which continent you are standing ? a weird idea ,isn't it ?

Anybody, anywhere, anywhen can do that. I did that with 9 in Greece in front of d*i*c*t*a*t*o*r*i*c regime and they took "good care" of me. ;-) But so what? Why should I care for some "special treatment"?

It suffices to not care about what might happen to the own self, Saad. The principle of violenceless resistance was proven successful in many many cases. One of the most recent was the fall of the wall in Germany. The people that came out in the streets were also arrested and shot etc. at the start, but at the end it worked despite the Stasi. It only depends on quiet denial and absence of fear in front of the men with the power. (My hat off to the people of the former east Germany for that.)

If this is not possible in Iraq then Iraq will never be free.

Cheers!

Nick

you are speaking about an other world Nick,
you can not do what you have did in Iraq and in many other places, and they are so many.
and I can assure you that,
Saad.

No, no, no, Saad. You make an elementary mistake here. The "kings" are only the ones that decide. But those who apply their decisions are *not* kings, they are normal people too. So, the man at the office could also ignore the decisions and orders of the "kings". Of course this is nit something that will work if only some few people at the visa offices do that. But I was speaking about all of us, wuth no exception. What would be the "power" of a "king" if nobody, even his officers would take his commands? Of course he and his high generals could try alone to punish millions of people ... good luck king!

The dofference between our worlds is smaller than you might imagine. The same system of only obeying the king's orders is here too. The normal everyday guys for example still pay their taxes, even after knowing that they will be used to pay for the mistakes of the insatiable bankers that caused the current economy crisis. The municipal authorities, as normal guys too, could simply ignore that and go for insubordination. If many do that, and if many guys of the street do that, then believe me: The very next day the kings will make a new law about not using taxes for saving the banks. But if the majority of the lambs blindly follows then the lambs have no right to complain for being slaughtered.

And in order to not cause the impression that I am only preaching from my chair, I already wrote a letter to the municipal authorities and had two visits to the tax office of town, because I told them that I will pay not a single penny for taxes this year if I don't get my dividend from the bank to which the kings indirectly invest my money. I told them they know where I live and so they can also send the police to arrest me and throw me in jail, no problem with that. But they don't get any taxes from me this year under these conditions. Period. What do you think they can do? They can do nothing. Even if I get into jail this will not cause anything at all. Some months later this stands in all magazines around the world, any they know that exactly.

So, they have a problem, not me! ;-)

Cheers!

Nick

you have the freedom to talk like that,a very understandable man you are talking to,
but could I travel to any where ?
NO,it is a big one too,the Kings deny us visas,
yes I could not obey some of their orders ,or listen to their talk ,but after all ,there is a big difference between your world and mine,
cheers,
Saad.

If we ignore those narrowminded guys named "definers" and "dividers", if we all humans ignore their stupid definitions and divisions, then we could laugh with them too, Saad. There could be really no better comedy for us all, if we would simply deny to do what they dictate from their thrones. There is no king where nobody takes orders from a king. ;-)

It sounds like "rebellion" but in reality it is only the wish to live well with all people around.

Cheers!

Good coloring in a bright light, Saad, that works very well with the haze at the distance. The coming ship and the houses and trees look really far away as their hues get intermixed with the milky tones of haze.

The bridge looks good too and gives a bit of tension as it "hovers" so high over the water. Its contours and lines show some zig-zag again.

I would prefer a less "frontal" composition for allowing the distance/perspective to speak more clearly. A turn of the camera to the right or to the left might do that.

As about which continent I would be on... well, it depends on the used definition of "continent" - and many times also on the political agreements. ;-)

Cheers!
