Nasty critter.

Never seen one live or stuffed. We don't have them in South Africa, but great capture.

Bazil

Woooow Jacques,

Wouldn't like to meet these ! But a perfect shot of the expression, that showes why we should be afraid of them.
Splendid composition and the refection adds definitly.
In line of these creatures, razorblade sharp catch.
You did a fine job here. Compliments !

Greetz,
Albert;)

oh oh... something looks like familiar... hahaha.... I have something like that... cute... yea... ok, in that way sure... but NOT alive into the river's water... you really don't want a kiss from that! :-D Excellent macro!

A good capture as it focuses mainly on the fearful jaws and watching eyes, Jacques. The way the skin of it seems to shine in a "liquid" way adds also much of that "alien" attitude, of something not familiar and dangerous. The details on the front part of the fish are quite crispy too, and so we get a good impression of that predator. If the reflection on the right wasn't there, I could have also thought that it was a real living one in water.

Cheers!

Nick
