Rainy morning, peaceful stairs

Impatient water

Light curves and lines

Looking over the fence

The morning joy of the prisoner

Variant 5

Formed by fire, wind, and water

In the middle of the field

They parked them and they went to work

A slope of water

Oh well, it was indeed a good quote but if I could only remember who said that. :-D

About "when it became just another sticker on Coca Cola and Pepsi advertisements".. well, Andre, you know:

And the world looks just the same
and the history ain't change
'cause the banners were all flown
in the next war

(Don't get fooled again, The Who)

Which also tells that we have to take the sign and what it implies a bit more seriously since unfortunately Coca Cola and Pepsi will always try to sell such things as "fashions" with not much of a content and meaning.

I can only hope that somebody will tell the kids of today that there have been kids back in the sixties that stopped much of the violence in the world by just rejecting violence. For me one of the most important movements of young people was the hippie movement. I never liked the look and style or the music of it, but this was not just wearing strange things and smoking grass while dancing - it had a concept and a content.

Cheers!

Hi Nick,
"Peace is much more than a time between wars"
Great quote Nick!
Seeing the sign like this carries more weight than it did at times in the sixties when it became just another sticker on Coca Cola and Pepsi advertisements.

Smiling! ;-)

Born in 64 I can't claim to be really a child of the sixties, Andre. (Unfortunately :-( ) I am a bit later than that, but still I had the opportunity to know about that movement. BTW, how could one ignire that, even decades later? It seems impossible to me. If we bubble about "peace" and "together" we just have to knoe that, but until now nobody else saw. Anyway, I can only be glad for knowing that you saw. At least somebody saw! ;-)

Now, let's wait and see if some few more new kids will really see instead of only "looking", ey? ;-)

Don't tell about it yet, even if it means that we have to accept that it is a past movement. Still I am convinced that all good new kids will find out. Perhaps under other symbols, but they will find out the content of it, namely that peace is much much more than the time between two wars. ;-)

Thanks a bunch and so nice to know that some people really observe.

Many thanks again, Marcio!

I was wondering about this one, if it would be better with a greater DoF. So I am very glad if you like it this way.

Cheers!
