I?m with David Tasker.In my two screens I see a good picture.We are not and should have not the judge mentality.We?re just looking at people like us that share with us the same passion.Too much details and rules, to me , are out of place in a site.Even I question most of those rules. I think sometime people get to "exact' and critcal about waht tehy see on tehir computer screen. The lighting on my monitor looks excellent. Some may habve their brightness up to high. How mmany peopel actually know how to adjust their screen setting. How does teh image on usefilm compare with the original - there are so many variables. I think we as "judge" must learn to make some allowance for the "digital" differences between teh origianla nd waht we see. This photo is excellent.

I'm concerned about the lighting in this shot. There seems to be too harsh light from the right (right as viewed on screen) causing burn out on that side of the face. The exposure on the left of the face seems fine, but the most worrying thing is that shadow under the chin. It looks to me like you have used either one studio light or a flash unit off the camera,,,, now if you are using a studio light, I suggest that you also use a reflector very close to the model on the left. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, even a piece of white styrene foam works wonders. If you are using a flash gun you can also use a reflector or bounce the flash off the roof, or better still shoot the flash into a silver or gold umbrella. The secret is to difuse the light so as it bounces around in such a way as not to be "direct" and creating soft shadows.
