About A very small one as the result of what remained from the big one that had quite an unfinisched composition. After many subsequent unsatisfactory crops the only possible solution was to limit it to the interesting part and throw way the rest. I think now that I should have zoomed in on the rosette in order to have this framing more or less. Any comments would be very welcome.

It was the only possible crop, Aylin. That's why I wish I would have zoomed in on the rosette right at shooting time. Sigh!

Anyway, thanks a lot!

Cheers!

Thank you very much, Dave!

Well, in this case it should have been really obvious to me. But so it goes, as you say.

Cheers!

I like the crop, Nick, but as you say it would be good if it was a little bigger! It's not always easy to think of these things at the time though.

No, zooming in wouldn't necessarily leave the stright lines off image, Gary. This is a crop of an image that contained much more of the facade of the building, so the way to go for getting it larger would be to leave anything else out and zoom into exactly this portion. As you say, it is too small this way.

About B&W, let's see. I converted it to greyscale. Well... not much difference. Or do I miss something? (Attachment.)

Cheers and thanks a lot!

Turned to B&W after Gary's idea

Indeed, Marcio! As already said, if I only had zoomed in more. Sigh!

Cheers and thanks a lot!

Hmm... "excelent".. Well, come on guys, there must be enough good images around that do not reach the realms of excellence, ey? It could have been better if I had zoomed in stronger, but as it is now...

Nonetheless thanks a lot Aziz!

It deserves to be larger. I like the contrast between the curves and the surrounding straight lines so zooming in would lose the effect. Might have more impact in mono.
