About The stone had a good texture for a try, but I am not really happy with the shot. Is it the focus or the light, or what is it that is primarily missing here?

I think the same, Marcio! I guess next time I must first put some label on the wall, focus on the labels, take the label off and then shoot. Perhaps then the shades of colors would also burn more detailed on the image.

As about symbolism, I don't deal much with that. It's the technical side that I try to improve first, since without it all symbolism (and everything else) gets weaker.

It is a difficult task to do it. Really needs more lighting and focus.
Although the details are lost, it is the symbolism ,but I can see several shades of colors.
I will try anytime , hugs.
