It is quite a good idea for a B&W and it has much atmosphere through the subject itself and also through the lighting that enhances some things and leaves other things in the shadows. I also fond the perspective strong and tangible. The birds seem to be markers for optical size and depth.
There seem to be softening over the whole image but it also fits the subtleness of the atmosphere. I think it would be nice to see that in bogger size.

Luis, A good moody image we have here.
Thanks for your comment on my disposable camera shot. It was a handy cam for about 6 dollars or so.
