This was the house of my tied-for-first best friend---Leon. I have not seen him in 30 years. I wonder if he remembers me. He lived just a few runs-and-jumps south of my house on Van Buren street. Leon Sanchez… And when I posted this photo years ago I always had a small bit of hope those I knew way back in my life would see it and contact me. As of today… I am still hoping.
never stop hope,that is my title. the last year I have met with a primary school classmate,named Ayman,we have first met in 1963,I see him from time to time since 1963,the last time I saw him we sat together and starts to chit chat about our primary school,we mentioned one student that we have never see,or know anything about for the last 25 years his name was Ahmad Saeed,and at the very second we said his name he bypassing us,saying to us may peace be upon you(this is our Hello),and passed on his way,we get silence for I don't know how long,and looking at each other ,me and Ayman for this unbelievable event, Saad.
someone went to a war? I'm not famikiar with this tradition except through song. Very glad to see another essay on photography again Jim, I gained so much from the last one.
