About This was the first store I went to on my own as a kid. I bought a top(never could get the knack of spinning it) and some wax lips(tased terrible... NEVER swallow) and pixie stix(ate 'em buy the bucketful) and bubblegum cigars(liked the yellow ones the best) here. I would spend 25 cents, or WOW!!! 50 CENTS... and every now and then, when the Tooth Fairy was generous... A WHOLE, ENTIRE DOLLAR!!!Sad. It was on Durban street. Or was it Durbin street?
