Death can be as much a part of art as life can be. But maybe that is just me. I happen to like a wide variety of "art", & not just life. Yes this is kinda gross, but given the "about..." I understand. It is almost kind of comical, not the picture, but the way you (Jim) worded it. It's not like this is a picture of "hey look at this dead animal in the road". Poor little animal though, but that is part of life. Cats will always be cats too.

Yes, exactly. I do not do a lot of artsy shots... but I really, really, really enjoy sharing my world and bit of the planet with you folks around the globe. Much of it resonates with all of you as being strangely familiar... or understandingly funny. And some are from my own point of view. This was a gift... left by the shaggy black cat I really don't like.

I can't understand why anyone would object to this image, given your about, after all, it's not gratuitous in any way and I can't follow any reasoning that death, or anything unpleasant for that matter, should not be a valid subject for art so given the length of this sentence, I reckon you're ahead 5-1 now

Bet is on! I will have more positive comments than negative. I have been posting here for 5 years. And those that follow my pics will look and understand. Life v. Death. Ian from NewZ'land and Roj from OZ and True from Norway and Saad from Mosul... and many, many, many others will see this photo and say, "I understand what you are saying." Bet'cha a soda pop.
