Justin: Thank you for taking the time to offer up a constructive critique. It is much appreciated.
For me the foreground was important in order to show that the desert is not just sand but includes a lot of scrub grass mingled with the sand and never gave it a second thought. Your comments have made me think however in a different crop for the picture and I will experiment with different views.
Thanks again for your critique Gaetan Dery

I like this, a different view of a well known subject. I would like to see a crop of the foreground, though, which would add a panoramic touch, too. There is plenty of objects near and far to establish the depth of field, and there isn't much of interest in the bottom 1/3, tonally or otherwise....
regards, Justin

Amen, John. Even in the darkest days, God's love and light shine through. And how fortunate we are to capture these moments of Light on our cameras to share with the darker parts of the world. :)
Best to you always, Brigitte

I can not agree with you more, Gaetan. Nature is my refuge from this crazy man-made world. An AWESOME image to say the very least. The color saturation is very pleasing... makes the whole scene just a bit more magical. REALLY well done! 7+++++++++++ and into my favs! Thank you!!!
Warm regards, Brigitte
