my mind is gone, away along a distant ridge early, quiet an' cold, stick cracks underfoot, rocks, there at my birth will be there still as I am in the ground, live now, in the moment past let go to rest, don't miss the now there's nothing else, in joy be in this place.
hey Paula, thank you for your comment on 'will be there still', I am constantly aware of the brevity of our time in this place compared to the land and the rocks in particular, we are granted a fleeting moment to see it all and be amongst it, what a gift! take lot's more pictures in Brazil. kind regrds, david.
I love meat loaf! many thanks for your support Roger, very good to catch up, at long last, down at Murrurundi the other evening, it's a good spot, we had some brekky at a little joint in the main street, very nice too. See ya' keep well, david.
hi sophie, thanks so much for your kind words, they, landscapes, are always a handful because there is so much information in there, some of the iconic landscapes are more about the 'mood' than the subject matter, perhaps.....just have fun taking shots! kind regards, david.
I got referred onto your work by Roger Skinner and might I say I'm glad that I was. Your work is absolutely amazing David. This is perhaps the best landscape photograph I have ever seen. It is absolutely beautiful. Well done. Sophie.
