About Greenbacks. American money. The dollar. I am a history/geography teacher... and I hold to this. A country may give one face to the world, but another face to their own country. The images on a country's money says more than anything else. Who we respect, who we put up and above others... a country's money is where the research should start. And I will give ya the low-down on my country's currency. 1 Dollar: George Washington... sorry Brit friends. 5 dollar: Abraham Lincoln and the resolution of the slave issue. 1861-1865... and he was a Republican. 10 dollar... Alex Hamilton. Never a president of the US but a wonderfully clever man... he was all about the currency and money stuff. Killed in a duel with Aaron Burr... interesting history bits. The $20.00 dollar bill... Jackson. Andrew Jackson. Tough geezer and all. I pulled history out of my pants pocket before I went to bed. Washington/1776, Lincoln/1865, Hamilton/1781 and Jackson/1812... Just passing some Colonies stuff along.

Hi Jim,I tries to learn something from anything, unfortunately I have learned only one thing from your about and that is related to your self being a teacher. a great, fine, but a very difficult and an impossible job, telling you this, I remember the big numbers of teachers and professors whom they taught me at schools, college, and postgraduate studies, through you I salute all of them.
the thing that I want to tell you,(that as I think) I know nothing about American history, and I think all the Iraqis and may be all the Arab,Hindu,Iranian,Turkish, and so many many nations. In contrast if you ask those and me,about say Egyptian,Roman,Greek,or even the English history, we know at least the big headlines, and few some details and events,
I think there is a strong case behind that, and being my friend Jim ,a history teacher ,I just want you to take a note of this fact.
my sincere regards,
Saad.

Thanks for the history lesson, but where is the Grant and Franklin? Didn't jackson have a scar on his forehead? funny how somethings don't reach the portraits. Nice macro, Although the angle is interesting.
