thanks for the technical detail, i had no idea of this. i took it in 1.8 for sure. i dont know if its the same lens u r talking about that i have. its a fixed 50mm/1.8 i bought few years ago for about 5k or something. and thats the only lens i have now. i used to think my hand is not steady enough perhaps but i have noticed my pics are quite sharp when i use a d100 that belongs to a friend. so i am relieved. so till i buy my hasselblad i am happy with what i have ;)

50/1.8 jothesto sharp lens, but jeta mone rakhte hobe sheta holo ei je protyek lens-eri ekta 'sweet' operating range achhe for best performance. eitar khetre sheta holo 2.8 to 8. ei particular shot ta tui koto f stop-e tulechhish jani na, but my guess is 1.8. 1.8-e ei lens-ta ektu dark ar soft ashe.

Ei gelo technical koch-kochi.

Amar boktobyo hochhe chhobi bhalo na kharap sheta motei sharpnes diye judge kora uchit na. Ei khetre jemon sharpness ta (amar kachhe) kono issue-i na. Bere chhobi hoyechhe eta.. khasha chhobi.

Shubho Bijoya ! :)

two reasons, my lens is not very sharp. the other reason is low light. its taken inside his mud hut.
