I find it very good for its rather authentic approach, Harry. Just a good image of some time ago. The exposure is quite well balanced for my eyes, as the highlights and shadows seem to reconstruct the relief, the plasticity of the objects in the image. Nice details and composition too, without exaggerating anything at all.
Cheers!

Yes, sure we heard about you there making a mess ;-) Cant you sell California to Mexico or to Dubai ? Good story Brigitte ! We used the grass also to prevent our feet from burning on the very ! hot roof stones. You could bake an egg easily.

AJ,
You NEED plastic grass or slippers bcse otherwise you burn your feet walking on the stone floor. Rain. Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, twice a year.

Plastic grass and plastic beer, and electrical sockets exposed to the elements - well, I guess it didn't rain much. Another fascinating insight into life on the road in the '80s...

Oh I forgot to tell you what I saw on the news yesterday. Well you probably have heard about our bad economy here and all the home foreclosures... well this bright young man decided he would take advantage of the situation and started a company that sprays dead lawns green with paint. It lasts for about 3 months. All the bank foreclosed homes have no one taking care of the property so lawns and shrubs die. The painted lawn actually doesn't look all bad. You guys had the right idea with your artificial lawn!! Never needs watering and never needs mowing... you can just spend all your days drinking non-alcoholic beer and soaking up the non UV rays! lol

A tropical paradise... all that is missing is a plastic palm tree and some girls! ;) Great memories, eh? Thanks for sharing.
Warm regards, Brigitte
