About Another one of those which I don't know exactly what I find interesting about. Perhaps the rather "fuzzy" or "vague" kind of sight. Anyway, I'd be glad for any comments.

I also wished for my tripod at that day, Visar! Most of the shots simply went cabloy, but this one... well, it has something. It seems to me that the many imperfections combine well with its other, though I'd surely prefer it in a better quality. So your suggestion I must follow and try some more shots of such a subject. I wonder how then the ice will be shining behind the haze.

Cheers and thanks a lot!

Nick

Yes, it was indeed misty, hazy, whatever one may call that, Dave. That kind of day with the sunlight being diffused by the low lying mist layer.

Thanks a lot!

Thanks agaon for the nice detailed comment, Stan!

It was a hazy winter day, so perhaps much of it goes back to that reduced light that was available. I'd really like to get such an image where the ice shines in darkness, but I am still not able to do that exactly.

Cheers!

hey Nick,

as Stan pointed out, the intensive grain and lack of details on the darker parts shows us poor light conditions- maybe having had shot from a tripod, a smaller aparture value and longer expo might have been a better solution-

however, i do enjoy the scenery. I particularily like the centre-right glacial part with lovely white glow--

cheers,
v.

I like the frozen falls against the rock, Nick! It looks like it was a little misty as well.

I like the center section of ice and how it almost appears to be standing on it's own. Must have been shot in tough lighting conditions. The rough grainy look works with this simplistic composition. Have a great Sunday and be well, Stan
