What a view in B&W!!! The very atmosphere of the place was captured in its entirety! I think that the perfect light balance made it possible to let it appear this way. All tiny details play their role for making it look more than a "good image" - it's a graspable version of reality as perceived through the vision of the photographer!
We see again, technique alone is not enough for good photography, but without it no good photography is possible. (A necessary but not sufficient condition.) And you mastered the technique brilliantly, Txules, but in addition then you used it for an excellent and captivating view of the place!

Hi Luis, originally this is a RAW image; I made several TIFs with different expositions blended with photomatix pro for getting a HDR image after that I converted it into BW wih Nik Silver Efex Pro (a great software, very versatile for BW) and finally some "dodge and burn" with PS and a liberal sharpenning

Wonderfully dirty and polluted just as it should be. A very powerful image TX. Do you convert color into b/w or use PShop? Whatever it is, it works well.

thanks Gary, I'm a bit worried, I let you know, almost every snapshot with the adequate postwork can be a fine picture, I wonder if I'm becoming a a computer artisan more than a photographer :(

I'm not sure about any place, but this looks like the sort of jumbled view that many people would walk past and not see the artistic potential. The light on the leading-in rail lines is nice and the mood is well, very Txules!
