Damn, Darrin, this is a SOLID portrait. If you have a 2nd light, I would suggest adding it behind her as a back-light to help separate her from the darkness. Though, in this shot, her hair is fairly well lit. Perhaps set that back-light at 1 o'clock from the camera, so it lights the back of her shoulder as well as her hair.
Got no issues though, this is well done.
As for posing, I find it adds another bit of contrast to the face if you ask the model to part her lips just a bit, so teeth show and it helps to convey that she's relaxed.

very nice model, real nice portrait, you can add alight behind the head to add definition from the background... or play it other way and have no light on her hair to bring the face right out the black backgound... shoul be interesting with her.
