the lighting is great... especially on the small rocks and the angle on the plants at the background Michele, hope for a bit better quality but still is a wonderful shot and worths the excellent rate.

No, Michele, you are confused about PIXELS and FILE SIZE.
UF allows up to 850 PIXELS at its largest size (length or height). See my photos, they are usually about 848 or 850.
Then, when you save them they have to be lower than 400 KB... that is the FILE SIZE and has nothing to do with PIXELS.
The file size is directly related to the colors in the photo. If a highly saturated (greens, blues) photo is at 850 PIXELS, the file size will still be way above the allowable FILE SIZE in kb terms. So when you save it, you adjust the file size via the slider for "quality" until the file size indicates something below 400 kb.
Usually, the 850 PIXEL file, when saving, is set for a "12" (highest) quality, which results in a FILE SIZE of (maybe) 700-800 kb. By moving the slider down to a quality level of about 9 or 10, you'll get below the allowable FILE SIZE for UF.
Don't know what program you are using but I think most of them are very similar when saving the file and selecting file sizes.
Next, we'll need to counsel you on proper photo reduction techniques..... so that you don't lose your quality as you reduce....

I am confused because as I underatand it this UF will not take images larger than 400 pixels which this one is 438 pixels -
The more detail in the image the more pixels right ???????
I am soooooooo confused with pink lightening - now my images too small :((
I do not like them this small either but when I try to post them larger they are rejected :((
