About This was a Zydeco band that played tonight in Bozeman Mt. at the Sweet Pea Festival. It is an annual festival with some great music every year. This group was called Big Red. They were high powered and kicked some butt. Be well, Stan Shot at 1/200,f7.1, ISO 1600
Thanks for the help Tony, hope you like this.

Hi Arif, I do love the music. This was my first effort and trying to capture some live music. The sound made it easy to get into.
Be well, Stan

Thanks Dave, shot quite a few shots trying to get the light and action to work. It was a great time. I love live music and this was the real deal.

Hi Brigiite, they were serving up Tater Pigs. A baked potato with a hole in it for a sausage. It is a main stay for Sweet Pea. wwwsweetpea.com. Big Red was primarily Zydeco with a little blues and some Reggie thrown in. I am including the green light version as well.
Be well, Stan

Awesome shot. Before reading the about I guess it was a Zydeco band just by looking at the accordian and the unusual instrument the guy on the right is wearing on his chest. Hope they were serving up a little crawfish etoufee' and gumbo to go with those ground sounds at this festival! Great shots and very effective post processing in the tones. Can you upload the original in a reply please? I bet it looked good with the green lights too.

All the best,
Brigitte

Thanks Nacho, they had green stage lights on them and I desaturated the colors to get it closer to what it looked like in person. Thanks for the encouragement. First real try at this. My wife and I danced until they closed the show with another group called Mingo Fishtrap. Rock band with some horns. Be well, Stan
