Correct, also large civilisations became too large to control.

yes dear Harry, with time civilizations get away from the clear and vivid sources, and forgets the principles which originally built upon, its the effect of time, intrusion, and softness,my regards,
Saad.

It seems every civilisation based on ex[ansion comes to a peak and collapses because of its size ....
Respect for life would be good because we are all small sparks of God/Allah

I have seen the movie directed by Mel Gibson too,and it is very great movie, this civilization born with its elements of death, although historian attribute its death to a miscalculated astronomical events, but after all,it is the human himself that do the miscalculation,I agrees with Mr.Gibson new theory of its end,NO RESPECT OF HUMAN LIFE,my best regards,
Saad.

They were warriors my dear, the captured enemy would be taken upstairs, the heart cut out and the body thrown down the stairs. And they had depictions of theur great leaders carved in stone.
They had ball games here, the loosing team would be killed.
( I read your comment on war monuments ;-)

But desides they were great astronomers etc !
