lives were made and lost at storm gully, old pine trees stand alone, testament to the farm cottage long burned down, the cart shed lost it's posture, the cattle yards, little used now, speak of impermanence and the cycles of life, a journey where you accept that good things come and go, enjoy the moment for this is not a practice run, you may experience this another time but truly, this is probably the real thing, love it now.
Erland, thank you for your comment on 'storm gully yards', the picture doesn't really reflect the story behind the place but then there is not much left of it now. look forward to visiting your work. kind regards, david.
Hey Gary, thank you for commenting on 'storm gully yards', the title was probably more about the site of the cottage destroyed by fire, nearby and the old fallen down woolshed but the gate seemd to capture it all, for me! kind regards, david.
