y, Alicia, si nos guiamos por lo que se ve, no hay dudas de la involución que estamos sufriendo en muchos aspectos, aunque es cierto que la realidad de los medios a veces está más cerca de la SiFi que el propio Orwell.

A good idea for a symbiotic existence of mechanical and biological parts, Gustavo! The many metal details around the eye introduce some kind of the ideas of the late 19th, early 20th century about the world of the "future". So it has also some retro-biomechanic touch to me.
The lighting balance is very very exact! I'd only wish a tiniest bit more of contrast. (Attachment). Still a very creative depiction of something like a camera eye.

Siempre me cuesta mucho decidirme, por eso hago e incluyo varias versiones de mis trabajos. A mí me gustó más en B&W porque la vi más, precisamente, "oscura" y perturbadora, pero en color también es interesante.
Gran hermano, 1984, Orson Welles, sin dudas son asociaciones evidentes, y en cuanto al estado, sin dudas un estado debe ser UNICAMENTE laico, las religiones no nos pueden seguir retrotrayendo a la edad media.
Aprecio que te guste y coincidir en la ideas.

Se trata en verdad de un relicario que contiene una vertebra de Ceferino Namuncurá y que pude fotografiar en una iglesia dedicada a su memoria. Reemplacé ese feo y dudoso hueso por este ojo mucho más inquietante, creo...;-).
Dejo otra alternativa interesante de recorte.
