About Taken again from the window of the train as the reflection on the left shows. Despite the very raw look because of ASA 400, it has something that made me wish to start using films with higher sensitivities for making grain as coarse and hard as possible but trying also to leep as much detail as possible. Here the grass on the foreground is rather blurry but I think that the house does retain a good degree of details. I'd be very happy to read any comments.

And I believe that the best thing is to not introduce any artificial beauty or any artificial ugliness, Gustavo! But is that possible? O am afraid it is not perfectly possible since we can never get rid of our own impression. I myself spoke already about hiw terrible I find the life of the people in that house. So I am already not really neutral. How to overcome this? Can we do that? And if we can do that, do we still have any reason for photography and arts at all?

This is the mystery of this Saturday evening! ;-)

Cheers!

Thanks a lot, Dave!

Well, again it should be kind of "depressing" but anyway, I am glad if you like it. To tell you the truth I just wonder how they can live in such a terrible house... It's only dark in there.

Cheers!

You mean that kind of "box" in front of the house, Gustavo, don't you? I hate that too! They should put it somewhere else for a more photogenic sight.

On the other hand this is not an image for a "nice sight". Such awful places are never nice. They are dull, odd, strange, terrible! All the details of any single thing on thisimage are just confirming the same and the same and the same rhythm of each and every single day. So here is the question: Try to introduce some artificial kind of bettering by eliminating the green thing, or rather allow the ugliness tell the ugly story? I must say, I don't know.

Cheers! And thanks a lot for the infusion of such a twisted thought into my mind!

An interesting look at the architecture, Nick! Again the grain adds to the shot.
