About The Western Flowering Dogwood is a wild species emblematic of British Columbia - it is the provincial flower. While it seems to be a large white flower, it is actually a round head of small greenish/yellow flowers surrounded by the white bracts.

Thanks for visiting and commenting, Andre. This is probably the most detailed of the four - one more is coming. Number 3 is exposed OK but, as I wanted a shallow DOF, there is less detail apparent in bracts. I agree that this does not work as well. Well, they are all different!

I think this is my favourite of the four Eb. I like the presentation of the flower and the position in the frame. #3 is nice too, but I think this one is better exposed in the white areas. The leaves look great too. Actually, I think this one wins in every aspect.
