Spring colors rich with southwest flavor adorn the wall faces in one of my all time favorite vacation spots Capitol Reef, just inside Utah's west border to Arizona. Doesn't get much prettier than this. Continued on to Moab and maxed out my digital on awsome canyons and arches. Capitol Reef is known for the same rich vibrance in its canyon walls. The orchards were blooming there also which feed the many mule deer that winter there. One awsome place NO ONE should go without seeing once in their lives.
I keep telling you...anytime you want to hit the road together LOL! One of these days I MUST do an actual "photo" vacation where I spend more than a few hours in each spot. I hated to leave Capitol Reef that day as the light and weather had been exceptional over the last few days in that area. We were heading for Moab (3-4 hours away) and I wanted an early pm city light shot of the town that night so I only managed to snap off 10-20 shots in this particular area of Capitol Reef. This seemed the best image of all and was found accidently on the way out of the park. Hope your recent travels have been "photo worthy" as well. You always have the most beautiful images.
