The coloring should be against strong but "dirty" in this one, just for enhancing the typical urban atmosphere in the not so "aristocratic" (and conservative) regions of the city, of which images course appear very very sparsly in the newspapers. (We only have bright shining places, you see ;-)) I'd be glad for any comments.
Bingo, Visar! These images were all shot after my small journey to Montagnola some years ago, where I had to smile reading his saying about a good way to die. "... by hanging under the last remaining chestnut tree *before* it gets choped down.." ;-) It was a hard period but also a nice one for me, which I thought I lost for ever, but which quite unexpected proves to be still with me - thanks heavens for that!
Much of Hesse's "revelations" is in the making of these images, if of course I may use this word, "spirit". It coinsides with much of the typical greek literature, especially Kavafis' (Cavafy) poem "Waiting for the barbarians" with the quite unexpected end that blows my mind each time I read it. ( http://users.hol.gr/~barbanis/cavafy/barbarians.html )
such a paradox! i think it should be the governments to promote those values without subterfuge; but instead they come up with their pinguin attitudes blabbering of a proseperity for the world they distroy.
to me it is like "you're about to enter a non EU zone"! something like the dream theatres of Hesse!
