Yes, Heidelberg is East of Cape Town between Swellendam and Riversdale (they always leave us out) on the way to Mosselbaai and George.
It would be fantastic to meet you and your daughter.

Morning dear Cas, how strange that UF doesnt want or can change your country, must be weird to become a US member in stead of SA:)
I tried to find Heidelberg on the map but I can only find a Heidelberg in Gauteng, suppose it is not the same place?? As you said its 'only' 250 km from CT and not far from the sea:) It would be lovely to come over there, did I tell you I will come with my daughter? Sounds great your wife is an artist, what kind of paintings does she make? Can't you make a shot and put it here to show us??I have an aunt living in Bloem who used to be an artist too, she had a pottery and was quite famous, but now in her age of 84:) She used to live in Clarens, a lovely place in the Golden Gate Park, have you been there? We will go and visit her as well, she always looks forward to see me, as the only family coming over to her...
Would be great to see your mountains, I really love it there and never get enough of your beautiful scenery;) Most of my shots are inspired on Africa, as I come there from since I was 21, now being 51 you can imagine how many shots I have:)) But of course very bad quality at first, now these digital ones are much easier and mostly better as well I think:) Its great talking to you, if you want you can use my email as well, which is on my profile, will be nice talking to you and your wife, have a lovely day!! No mind to worrie would be nice;)
It really looked like an inviting place to stay,
as I was younger I used to sleep on beaches, in
Greece, Spain, France..anywhere...when things were
more easy it seemed..:) 400 DF for 6 weeks on my
way, meeting lots of kind people, still love to
sleep outside when warm in the garden on a
stretcher, wonderful;))
And what do you mean by Small Faces? couldnt

Hello Jen,
When I signed up with usefilm I must have made amistake selecting my country of residence. Ihave asked them to correct it but........
Heidelberg is only 250 kms from CT. I am retired and have plenty of time.My wife is an artist and we go around the countryside near here taking photos of scenery for her to paint. and we would like to have you come and visit and show you all the beautifull mountains and we are close to the sea too.

Hello dear Cas, wilde je nog terug schrijven, kwam er even niet van;)
Wat leuk dat je in Zuid Afrika woont!! Ik was meer verbaasd omdat je de Amerikaanse vlag achter je naam hebt staan, so I was suprised about to hear you live somewhere else:)) I will be back soon in SA, coming in June for a month, really looking forward, staying most of the time in CT, but will see some family in Bloemfontein.
I was in SA in Sept/Oct and Dec/Jan this year, really love it there!

Great Idea and very well planned composition. I never imagine that kind of facility. But seems to me as a wonderful idea for listening the waves. Being on the beach but in the bed. Sooo nice. You are the great composer of the scenes Jen!

Now I can picture you traveling all the way to Africa with this bed..., Wow!.. you wouldn't do that here without a shade, it's just too hot. Very good for the project Jen, really cool!! Amazing capture and all the trouble to set this up... {just to have a cool photo}
