Hello JD ... actually the rock is a great fishing spot and small boats go there just for that...any big boats never come this close .

So sorry to hear about the flu ..at least YOU had (or have )) a reason ..I have taken several images but not posted at all this week ...just sort of slacking off a bit - Ohhhhh I should say studying and practicing my favorite hobbie as it really is ... BUT I did have a wonderful visit with our dear Annemette ..and that was super --think I may have the blues now that she is gone on her way south on a photo trip :))

Hello Robbie --I totally agree about the rock being centered and it should have been cropped to the right to make a better image - dang ...I know better on these things ..I wasn't thinking stright AGAIN ...but I appreciate you pointing it out so I will pound it into my head better -ha! I really will :)) Doyle actually gave me a good example in his comment as well....

Beautiful image Michele,awesome colors and exposure on this one.Very nice 'wave' action and that ernormous rock.This is where I differ from the rest,the rock makes the image looks 'static' because it is placed in the centre of it.[IMHO] but what do I know.

Nice shot Michele. Only thing i would consider is to pull the top right hand corner in and down a bit taking the rock out of the centre. I think the people in the pic will allow you to do that if you know what i mean. Its great that they are there. Big hugs. Keith

Hi Michele, I really like the low perspective, and the way you composed it with the sand, then the water reflections on the sand reflecting the blues in the sky, and then the water, that is such a great color, the whites of the waves and the aqua color of the water, so beautiful....nice light and exposure, well done. :)

that is really impressive, ok, it's already a nice photo Michele however that rock in the middle of...nowhere is really superb... so tall that really looks like a rock falls down from the sky!!! impressive that thin part at the bottom right of the rock... that looks like a cup's hold part lol... nice the present of the humen there...
