Dear JD..I could not agree with You more about constructive comments as that is 'why we are all here ' at least that is what I hoped for..
I don't always feel comfortable telling others how to improve their images since I am really just learning and it is a very slow process for me .. soooooooo I like to make a comment of what I do like about the image to give support .. BUT when the day comes and I learn more I do hope to be able to do what both You.. Doyle, and Robbie (Chin)) have done for me- a lot of time and help to explain so please know how much I appreciate all help and as well as a bit of support now and then :))

Hi again. I may not comment on ALL your submissions, but I try to give you as honest an answer as I can with my limited knowledge. I remember when Marc Adamus was a member of Usefilm, he truely was a superb photographer, in my opinion way ahead of the majority of the members, yet he found the time to give me suggestions on improving my photos, without him being a know-all.
Most comments that come through are positive, but it would be nice occasionally to recieve a constructive one. I'm sure we would all benefit from that more than yust 'patting on the back'. I hope I haven't offended you or any readers, but I also belong to another Photography club and they are certainly not backward in coming forward with ALL comments.
Here I go again, prattling on...
I thought your shot of the 'stormy sea' was very good. It was made better with the birds. Although I think 'birds' always dress up a beach scene, don't you ?

One of the best nature images that i have seen,love this classical composition..and your creative use of light!
Hi there its had already stormed for days here in Holland, but on that day the storm grew till over 100 km/h. Under normal circumstances this should lead to concern, but as the water in the Zuiderzee already reached a high level due to the storm in the preceding days, it caused flooding. On many places the water splashed over the dikes which inflicted damage on the inner sides and were no langer a match for the pressure of the water in the Zuiderzee. be safe my dearest friend Michele,hug...riny
