The crop is better. Remember, sometimes you can pull an unwanted flower or bud down and catch it on another, or just pulling it down some will hold it out of the camera's site. I don't like to pinch off buds, but if the shot is going to be a great one without it, off it goes. Sacrifice! I would have liked to retain the bottom of the image below that bud. It is nice. Then maybe the crop wouldn't need to be so drastic.
