Trying to get that milky appearance on a foggy day along with the darker parts of the street and the ceiling. I am glad that the compromise came out relatively good and that some details were preserved in both regions of the image. Any comments would be very welcome.

Oh well, perhaps we do need some more detail of the city behind the fog... or was it the dark parts in the foreground? I don't know. This is one of those cases about which we talked about. I hesitate now, after posting it, what would have been better. And imagine that today I tried burning here and dodging there in order to have perhaps some retro-hint about exposure. And still I hesitate! Perhaps I should forget about the image and return to it some time later on too.
