About This has to be my most favorite falls that I have seen. Getting here is a chore in itself.

After a 60 mile drive up Indian road 18 you reach the Hilltop. Then the fun begins.
You have a few different options.
You can Take a helicopter ride to the village.
You can ride a Horse or a mule there.
Or you can do what Kim and I did. Hike the eight miles along some rugged but beautiful terrain. The hike wouldn't have been so bad but we were in a hurry to get to the Lodge by 5pm and we got a late start. So instead of an ass hauling us...we hauled ass......all the way down the Hill. The hike included traversing the side of a mountain and then winding along a river bed through a box canyon.

After 2hr:30min hike we made it to the lodge.

Now, if we had it all to do over again. We would have FLOWN!!!! the hike kicked our butts!!!
The ride out made up for a lot of the pain we suffered on the hike in!

Havasu falls drop over 200 feet into a beautiful turquoise pool. The water gets its color from the high concentration of lime that it carries.
I hope you like this as much as I do.

I had heard of Havasupai Fall's before and how difficult it was to get to it. Perhaps one day I will get there but for sure will be flying instead of hiking ;)
Amazing shot! thanks for sharing.
