Indeed expressive and although we shouldn“t treat the animals as humans but respect them for what they are, we must always remember that they also feel sadness, fear, joy, longing etc. A beautiful portrait, dear Paolo:-)

Wow, talking about a low key shot! I like how you left that white object in the background, it gauges the amount of light.. the highlight on the eyes, ears and mouth of the dog are just the right tones to outline the figure. Well captured low key composition.. Congrats!!! Cheers!regards..

dear friend, I hope you won't find me selfish, but I have to tell you that this look reminds me of a dog I saw last week .It was a stray dog and followed me when I was riding my bike, unfortunately I couldn't adopt the dog , since I live in a very small apartment with two cats, so I had to leave him alone.I still think of the dog and I cry.I am moving house this summer and hopefully I will prefer a garden around the house ( I am leaving the city).I hope I could find the stray dog again and give it a big hug.I have promised myself I will adopt one or even two stray dogs .Sorry for writing so many words about my story , I really like your photograph and I hope I didn't make you feel embarrassed.7.
