It really looks to me as if macros - I mean real macros with such a great definition of the main object - would be one of your strengths in photography, Dave! The amount of details and the great contrast against the backround are both extremely well captured! The image really conveys silence and peace but it is also an exact study of nature - which is more than hard to achieve!

Great Macro Dave. Fantastic capture of the delicate Icy structure on the edges of the leaf. Reminds me of New Zealand in the Winter. BRRR, that part I dont miss.;)

Hi Dave,
I like this colour combination together for a frosty winter image. We have some trees near here that don't lose their leaves in the winter, so this one reminds me to get some shots of them next time I'm out.

Beautiful subject nicley presented, Dave! I would prefer less focus on the background. I know it is more difficult for you to do because your camera optics create a lot of depth of field.

well my friend, I think ice has lot of interesting ...especialy in macro way! or micro... hmmmm... I'm thinking of a special lens right now that could take shots from the ice crystal details... but don't know if it could take that shots...
even without that, you get lot of the details here it's a nice shot my friend... fall and winter togather... that little leaf looks like don't wonna be fall down...
