The contrast of colors of the tree against the whit snow is remarkable, Claudia, as is the separation of the background from the foreground through the fog at the top. The dogs at the bottom part are completely overexposed though. I guess that that a crop or cloning them off would help. What about the attached altered image?

The red colors of the trees contrasts well with the snow and the dogs playing adds some life to the whole composition.

Very interesting. My first impression was this is two pictures - the snow line is so distinct. Upon closer examination I like the effect you have created here.
