Thanks, Doyle. If I understand your question right...
According to the users manual in PM, you don't need to enter the photos in any particular order. The program reads the EXIF data and takes care of anything. There's also no way to eliminate a certain layer/photo from the mix. If you have selected the files for processing, they go into the hdr file. I even tried removing some before processing the hdr file but it added them anyway.
So the only way to remove a certain image from the impending hdr is to rename it and line it up in your file broswer, since the PM software requires you to select a string of sequential files and not one by one.
Hope that makes sense.

I always pictured you to have more grass in your yard, Dave! LoL!
Serious, a good one here! You stack these images from Darkest at the bottom, and then work from the top, removing what needs to be enhanced, layer by layer as you descend. I'm curious as to the workflow! Another very good image Dave . . .
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

Thanks Bernardo, I was just thinking the other day that my Sigma lens seems to be my preferred shooting lens... strangely enough.

Thanks, John. While you have lots of boats to photograph... I got lots of junk cars and abandoned buildings.... LOL
